§ Service terms
CV and LinkedIn writing, service terms.
These terms apply only to the optional paid writing service on the CV and LinkedIn page. Recruitment is free and is covered separately. Draft for review, not in force for sale, version draft-1 (2026-09-08).
1. Who these terms are between
These terms cover the optional paid CV and LinkedIn writing service only. They are separate from any recruitment relationship, and separate from our terms of business with employers.
This is a draft. The seller's legal name, trading or registered address, the address you use to cancel, and the tax position are still being confirmed, and will be set out in full here before any payment can be taken. We are not stating a company registration, VAT number or physical address that has not been confirmed.
2. Recruitment stays free and independent
Registering with us, being considered for a role, being introduced to an employer and every other part of our recruitment work is free to you.
Buying this service is never a condition of any of that, and choosing not to buy it has no effect on whether we consider or introduce you. You can use recruitment without ever buying this service, and buying it gives you no priority.
3. What you are buying
CV rewrite, £99: A rewritten CV for one career direction, in files you can edit yourself. LinkedIn profile, £79: Written LinkedIn copy for you to paste into your own profile. CV and LinkedIn, £149: Both, written together so the two tell the same story.
Each option is a one-time purchase for one English-language career direction. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Prices shown are the total payable, inclusive of any tax that applies, and no surcharge is added at checkout.
The price recorded with your order is the price you agreed. If we change our prices later, your order is unaffected.
Unusual academic, executive or long-form requirements are quoted and agreed separately in writing before any payment is taken.
4. What we deliver, and what we do not promise
For the CV: a rewritten professional summary, experience and skills sections, supplied as an editable Word document and a PDF. For LinkedIn: headline, About and experience-section copy, suggested relevant skills, and a short guide for applying it yourself.
We deliver written copy for you to use. We do not ask for your LinkedIn password and we do not log in to, access or edit your profile.
AI tools may assist with drafting. A person reviews and checks every final version before delivery.
We do not promise interviews, job offers, employment, a salary level, or performance in any employer's applicant-tracking or ranking system, and we make no claim that any system is guaranteed to accept a document.
5. Your information, and factual accuracy
You provide the facts: dates, employers, titles, responsibilities and achievements. You confirm they are accurate, and you check the draft for factual accuracy before final files are issued.
We will not knowingly write a claim we have been told is untrue.
6. Timing
A first draft is issued within five working days, counted from the later of: the date we have complete information from you, and the agreed date on which work is to start. We confirm the actual start date to you in writing.
Revisions: one consolidated revision round per order, sent back as a single set of points after your factual check.
7. Cancellation, and when work begins
You have 14 days from placing your order to cancel without giving a reason and without penalty. By default we do not begin work until that period ends, so if you cancel in that time you get a full refund.
You may separately and expressly ask us to begin sooner. That request is never pre-ticked and never bundled into anything else. If you ask us to begin early and then cancel within the 14 days, you may be asked to pay a proportionate amount reflecting the work actually performed up to the moment you told us, and where the service has by then been performed in full at your express request, the cancellation right no longer applies.
Outside those situations: if work has not begun, you receive a full refund. Nothing in these terms is intended to be read as a blanket 'non-refundable' rule.
To cancel, tell us in writing using the contact form or by replying to our order confirmation. Any notice period that applies to us as an agency is waived in your favour and does not reduce your cancellation rights.
8. If something is wrong
If the work is not as described or is not carried out with reasonable care and skill, tell us and we will put it right where we reasonably can, or make an appropriate reduction. Your statutory rights under UK consumer law are unaffected by anything written here.
9. Your data
What we hold, why, and for how long is set out in our privacy notice, and you can exercise your data rights at any time. Buying this service does not sign you up to marketing, and we do not treat your order as consent for anything beyond providing the service you bought.
The content of your CV and your brief is never sent to the payment provider. To take a card payment, the payment provider receives the option purchased, the amount and currency, the terms version, our order reference, and the email address you give at checkout so it can issue your receipt. It also collects your payment details directly, which we never see or hold.
10. Version and record
This is a draft for review, and no payment can be taken while it is. Version: draft-1 (2026-09-08). When you place an order we record the version you accepted, the date and time you accepted it, and a copy of this wording as it stood at that moment, and we show that copy back to you on your order page so you can save or print it.
